Abhidnya Waghmare is a self-taught artist, exploring everyday life through sketchbooks. Her practice is driven by intuitive mark-making, allowing each piece to remain fluid, layered, and messy. She uses travel sketchbooks to turn everyday scenes into visual stories, embracing imperfection.

Postcards from Places is a collection of works documenting places as they are experienced rather than how they appear, through a sketchbook-led practice focusing on observation, memory, and presence rather than perfect versions.

Each artwork begins as an on-site sketch, developed through spontaneous line work and layered lines

Through this series, the postcard is reinterpreted as a record of lived experience, offering an unfiltered and personal perspective of each place.
